The left ear can sound different then the right, if a person pays attention they can sense which direction the communication is coming from. They can sense the left ear, the right ear, a space on the upper right corner, right directly above the mind space centered at the top and outside of the head all together.
Start with the Old Testament and use Jasher and Enoch to cross reference. Once you know these 3 like the back of your hand, things should be clearer.
